Man finds cobra hiding in shoes

December 13, 2017

Mysuru:  It’s no secret that snakes can slither themselves into our homes, especially during rainy and winter season and they like to hide in between books, drawers or even under the couches to themselves warm.

But this snake, a baby Cobra, found its hiding place in a man’s pair of shoes. Fortunately for this man, an employee of RBI, who lives in RBI Quarters, the juvenile snake did not harm him when he tried to wear the shoes last night.

The man, in whose shoes the juvenile Cobra was found, has been identified as Mahesh. Yesterday at about 8.30 pm, Mahesh, who wanted to go out, tried to wear his shoes which he had kept outside the house and found something wriggling when he put his foot inside.

He immediately got a torch and when he saw, he was shocked to see a juvenile Cobra inside.

He immediately called Lingarajau, a Fireman serving at Hebbal Fire Brigade Station, who rushed to his house and rescued the Cobra and released it into the forest area later.
