Man found dead with stab injuries near Chamundi Hill

Mysuru: A 33-year-old man was found dead with stab injuries at the foot of Chamundi Hill here this morning.

It is suspected that the man may have been murdered yesterday midnight and the incident came to light early this morning when the devotees saw the body and informed the Police.

The deceased has been identified as Prabhu, a resident of K.G. Koppal in city.

K.R. Inspector Prakash and staff, who rushed to the spot, conducted mahazar and found that the man was stabbed using a sharp weapon. They later shifted the body to MMC&RI mortuary, besides registering a case.

The Police have suspected that financial dispute may have led to the murder.

K.R. Police, who have registered a case, have launched a hunt to nab the culprits.
