Mysore/Mysuru: Vijayanagar Police have found the body of a murdered man on the footpath, adjacent to High Tension Park in Vijayanagar 2nd Stage, on Mar. 14 at about 7 pm.

While the name of the deceased is Manju, other details such as address and family are not known. He is aged between 35 and 40 years, 5.6 ft. tall, wheatish complexioned, normal built, oval faced and was wearing a purple colour full arm shirt and blue pant.

The body has a wound mark around the neck and had bled from the head. It is suspected that miscreants may have killed him with a weapon.

Vijayanagar Police, who have registered a case, have urged the kith and kin of the deceased to contact Vijayanagar Police Station on Ph: 0821-2418117/ 317/ 517 or Police Control Room on Ph: 0821-2418339, according to a press release.
