Mysore/Mysuru: An unidentified man was found murdered near Tavarekatte under Nazarbad Police limits on yesterday morning, with his head smashed using a boulder.

Passersby spotted the body and alerted the Police. Sub-Inspector Nataraj and his team rushed to the spot, conducted mahazar and shifted the body to MMC&RI mortuary for post-mortem.

Police suspect the murder may have taken place on Tuesday night and are trying to establish the identity of the deceased. A case has been registered and further investigation is on.
