Man injured in hit-and-run case

Mysuru: In a hit-and-run case, a 50-year-old pedestrian sustained serious injuries when he was hit by an unidentified vehicle near Nadanahalli on Mysuru-T. Narasipur Road this morning.

The injured pedestrian has been identified as Swamy of Nadanahalli.

Swamy was crossing the Mysuru-T. Narasipur Road to go to Police Layout, when an unidentified four-wheeler coming from Mysuru side knocked him down at about 8 am. The seriously injured Swamy was rushed to nearby Kaveri Hospital. Siddhartha Traffic Police Inspector Harish Kumar and staff visited the spot and conducted mahazar.
