Man killed as Kerala State bus hits

Hunsur:  A senior citizen was killed when a bus belonging to Kerala State Road Transport Corporation hit him at Harinahalli village in the taluk in the early hours of Jan. 25.

The deceased is Vishwaradhya (81), a resident of Harinahalli. Vishwaradhya was on his morning walk, when the bus which came from Gonikoppa side hit him resulting in the elderly man sustaining serious injuries.

Passersby rushed him to Hunsur General Hospital where he was provided first-aid and was later shifted to K.R. Hospital in Mysuru and was later being shifted to NIMHANS in Bengaluru, but Vishwaradhya is said to have breathed his last midway.

Based on the complaint from deceased Vishwaradhya’s son Basavaradhya, Hunsur Rural Police have registered a case.
