Mysuru: In a fatal road mishap, a 53-year-old man was killed when he was knocked down by an unidentified vehicle near D. Salundi on Mysuru-Manandavadi Road on Tuesday.

Shivanna (53) of Doddahattihundi in the taluk is the deceased. Shivanna was returning home herding his cattle near D. Salundi last evening, when an unidentified vehicle fatally knocked him down and sped away, it is learnt. Jayapura Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
