Man killed, fiancée injured as bus rams into car

Mysore/Mysuru: A man was killed on the spot while his fiancée sustained serious injuries when a KSRTC bus rammed into the car they were travelling near Kalasthawadi on Bengaluru-Mysuru Highway here yesterday.

While deceased has been identified as Bengaluru-based Bharat Prasad, a Software Engineer, his injured fiancée is Chaitra, who has been admitted to a private hospital here.

Bharat and Chaitra, after having the darshan of Goddess Chamundeshwari were returning to Bengaluru in their car (KA-01-MW-8839), when the KSRTC bus coming in the opposite direction rammed into the car, killing Bharat on the spot.

Bharat and Chaitra’s marriage was fixed and the marriage date was to be fixed, sources said.

N.R. Traffic Police have registered a case.
