Mysuru: A 50-year-old motorcyclist, who was undergoing treatment at a city hospital after sustaining serious injuries in a road mishap, breathed his last yesterday evening.
Jayakumar (50) of Arakere in Srirangapatna taluk is the deceased. He was travelling on his motorcycle from Baburayanakoppal to Srirangapatna on Mysuru-Bengaluru highway on the night of Apr.19, when a unidentified vehicle knocked him down from behind near Cauvery bridge.
Jayakumar, who sustained serious injuries, was rushed to a hospital in Mysuru, where he succumbed to his injuries at 6.30pm yesterday.
Srirangapatna Town Police have registered a case in this regard.
