Srirangapatna: A man allegedly killed his wife by assaulting her with a wooden stick at Gananguru village in the taluk.

While the deceased is Prabhavathi (40), the accused husband is 46-year-old Chandrashekar.

Police suspect that following wordy duel between them, Chandrashekar might have assaulted his wife Prabhavathi with a wooden stick and she might have died due to the injuries. Srirangapatna Rural Police visited the spot and following a complaint from Prabhavathi’s son Nanjunda, the Cops have registered a case.
