Man loses Rs. 1.08 lakh cash

He was bringing the money to repay loan

Mysuru – An incident of a man losing cash, which was meant to repay the loan he had taken, has been reported from Paduvana Road in T.K. Layout here on Apr. 3.

The person, who lost the cash, has been identified as Krishnegowda, an employee of J.K. Tyres and a resident of Vijayanagar 2nd Stage in city.

It is reported that Krishnegowda, on Apr. 3, had kept Rs. 1.08 lakh cash (51 notes of Rs. 2,000, 12 notes of Rs. 500) in his left side pant pocket to give it to his colleague from whom he had taken a loan.

As the Employees Union had organised a function to felicitate Chief Minister Siddharamaiah at the latter’s residence, Krishnegowda arrived at the CM’s residence where he realised that he had lost the money.

A case has been registered at Saraswathipuram Police Station in this regard.
