Two accused nabbed in a few hours
Mysore/Mysuru: A man has been allegedly murdered over a monetary dispute at Udayagiri on Wednesday night and the Police have arrested two accused within a few hours of the incident.
While the deceased has been identified as Asif Pasha (35), a resident of KHB Colony in Udayagiri, those arrested are Saleem Pasha and Syed Anwar. Both the accused were produced before a Magistrate, who remanded them to judicial custody.
A fight broke out over the money owed to Saleem Pasha which escalated and the two accused using a glass piece and a eucalyptus pole hit Asif on his head and killed him before fleeing away.
Devaraja Sub-Division ACP Shanthamallappa, Udayagiri Inspector Sudhakar and staff, who reached the spot, conducted mahazar and registered a case.
Acting on the clues, the Police who conducted investigation traced both the accused within a few hours of the crime and arrested them.
