Man succumbs to injuries at private hospital

Mysore/Mysuru: A 59-year-old man, who was admitted to a private hospital in city after he was hit by an autorickshaw on Hallikere-Gagenahalli Road in Hunsur taluk last Tuesday, has succumbed to injuries at the hospital on Monday morning.

The deceased is Swamygowda, son of late Nanjundegowda and a resident of Gagenahalli, Bilikere hobli in Hunsur taluk.

Last Tuesday, Swamygowda was walking on Hallikere-Gagenahlli Road, when an autorickshaw rammed into him.

Swamygowda, who suffered serious injuries, was admitted to a private hospital in city, where he succumbed to injuries on Monday.

Post-mortem was conducted this morning at MMC&RI mortuary and the body was handed over to the family members.

Bilikere Police have registered a case in this regard.
