Man who had come to ‘Samavesha’ dies in city

Mysore/Mysuru: A man, who had come to city to attend Congress’ Sadhana Samavesha on Saturday, has died in city.

The deceased has been identified as Kumar (39), a resident of Thuruganuru village in T. Narasipur taluk.

After attending the Sadhana Samavesha held at Maharaja’s College Grounds here on Saturday, Kumar visited a wine store near Ramaswamy Circle, where he consumed liquor. While coming out of the wine store, Kumar is said to have tripped, fell down and breathed his last.

His (Kumar) family members came to know about his death when they began to search for him as he had not come back even after late night.

Post-mortem was conducted at MMC&RI mortuary and the body was handed over to his family members.

Lakshmipuram Police have registered a case.
