Mysuru: Mandya Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), Cheyyanda E. Thimmaiah (Arun) passed away in the early hours of this morning following brief illness.

He was aged 57 years and is survived by his wife Divya (Bolakaranda), daughter Kajal and a host of relatives and friends.

He was a native of Balamberi village in Madikeri taluk of Kodagu district.

Last rites will be performed at Muktidhama crematorium in Vijayanagar Fourth Stage in Mysuru city this evening, according to family sources.
