Mandya farmer succumbs to snake-bite

)- Ramesh (40), a farmer from Hemmige village in Mandya taluk, who was being treated at the District Hospital for snake bite, passed away at the hospital yesterday evening.

It is reported that Ramesh, who had gone to his field to release water from the borewell at about 7.30 pm, was bitten by a snake following which he was shifted to the hospital where he breathed his last.
