Mysuru:  MLA S.A. Ramdas has said that Mane-Mane Dasara will be held in K.R. Constituency from Sept. 22 to 27.

Addressing a meeting of MCC Corporators coming under K.R. Assembly segment at MCC Hall here recently, Ramdas directed the Corporators to hold Mane-Mane Dasara in all the 19 Wards.

Asking the Corporators to chalk out programmes in consultation with the concerned Revenue Inspectors and Engineers, Ramdas said that pamphlets that explain the programmes concerning Mane-Mane Dasara must be distributed to all households in the Assembly segment.

Instructing to conduct competitions such as Rangoli, Running Race, Yoga, Painting, Games etc., Ramdas said that there will be separate contests for men and women and there will be three prizes in each   category.

Pointing out that the District in-charge Minister has assured of releasing Rs. 1.50 lakh for Dasara to every MCC ward, Ramdas called for support from sponsors and the involvement of every citizen in the grand event.

Corporators B.V. Manjunath, Shivakumar, Sunanda Palanetra, Ramesh, Begum Pallavi, Shobha, M.V. Ramprasad and other Corporators were present at the meeting.
