November 3, 2022

Mysore/Mysuru: Prior to taking care of the new-born baby, it is important and necessary to take care of the mother herself and the unborn baby. As there can be numerous causes of birth malformations, which can lead to a complicated situation, they can be detected and treated beforehand for a safe pregnancy and delivery.

Therefore, in order to inform pregnant women of the DOs and DON’Ts during pregnancy, Manipal Hospital, Mysuru, had organised an awareness campaign on Oct. 31 under the assistance of Dr. K.G. Amulya, Consultant-Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Mysuru and Dr. U.S. Bhuvaneshwar, Consultant – Paediatrics.

A total of 100 women from various parts of Mysuru were invited to participate in the campaign so that they could better understand the facts and myths about pregnancy and have a better gestation time.
