Mar. 31: GST Return Due Date

Mysuru: The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, The Ministry of Finance, Government of India, New Delhi, through a notification has provided an opportunity to update and file the necessary GST returns waiving the LATE FEE if filed on or before 31.3.2019.

Those coming under GST may update the following before Mar.31 and avoid penal provisions and consequences:

a) Input Tax Credit (ITC) under transitional provision shall be taken on or before 31.3.2019.

b) File GST returns in GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-4 if not done for the period between July 2017 – Sept. 2018 without late fee before Mar.31, 2019, according to a press release from  Bhavani Associates, Mysuru.
