Second edition of ‘Bhoomi Putri’ authored by Raghu R. Kautilya released

Mysore/Mysuru: Singer Shubha Raghavendra released the second edition of ‘Bhoomi Putri’, a book authored by State BJP OBC Morcha President Raghu R. Kautilya in memory of his wife Nirmala Raghu, at a programme organised under the aegis of Nypunya School of Excellence (NSE)  at Nirmaladhama near Nanjangud Road Toll Gate on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, writer and columnist Dr. Gubbigoodu Ramesh said marital bliss has a big place in our culture. He said that author Raghu Kautilya, realising the real value of marital life, has penned his heartfelt feelings towards his wife in the book.

“Raghu has come up with memories of his late wife Nirmala in every page of the book. Every line in the book highlights the respect and feelings that he had for his wife,” Dr. Gubbigoodu Ramesh said.

He noted that what Raghu has written is  a poetic (Sakhi Geethe) narration of a happy married life, underlined by themes of companionship, emotional bond and life.

Later, students of the city’s Ayama Academy performed noted poet K.S. Narasimhaswamy’s poetic dance-drama ‘Ninnolume Aramanege,’ under the direction of Vidu. Dr. Shambhavi Swamy.

Retired Police Officer J.B. Rangaswamy, author Raghu R. Kautilya, who is also the Chairman of Nypunya School of Excellence, NSE Academic Director Gururaj Sridhar and others were present on the occasion.
