Mysuru: Sri Gomatagiri Kshetra Seva Samiti, Mysuru, has organised the 68th Masthakabhisheka Puja Mahotsava at Gomatagiri near Bettaduru village in Bilikere hobli, Hunsur taluk, on Dec.3 at 12 noon under the guidance of Sri Devendrakeerthi Bhattaraka Pattacharyavarya Swamiji of Sri Hombuja Kshetra, Jain Mutt in Shivamogga. Sri Vatsalya Diwakara Acharya Sri 108 Pushpadanta Sagarji Maharaj will grace the occasion. Hunsur MLA H.P. Manjunath will be present.

Masthakabhisheka will be performed to the 18ft. tall statue of Bahubali, sculpted in black granite by the Ganga Kings and the first Masthakabhisheka was performed in 1949.

Special buses have been arranged from KSRTC Suburban Bus Stand  to  Gomatagiri  to ferry devotees for the Mahotsava.
