Mayor’s Gold Cup Kabaddi Tournament: Shabbir Babu shines in SBI’s win

Inspiring raiding by Pro-Kabaddi player Shabbir Babu (16 points), helped State Bank of India (Bengaluru) to register a facile 50-12 win over Classic Nationals, Bengaluru, in their Group ‘B’ league tie in the men’s section of the Mayor’s Gold Cup All-India Invitation Kabaddi Men and Women’s Tournament-2017, organised by Mysuru City Corporation (MCC), Mysuru, jointly with Karnataka State Kabaddi Association and Mysuru Zilla Kabaddi Association, under flood-lights at Chamundi Vihar Indoor Stadium yesterday.

The league matches concluded this morning and the knock-out matches will begin at 4 pm today.
