Mysuru: Mayor M.J. Ravikumar distributed various facilities to beneficiaries during a function held at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Community Hall in Udayagiri recently.
MCC beneficiaries residing in Beedi Colony, Ghousianagar, Azeez Sait Nagar, Udayagiri, Rajivnagar, Gandhinagar, Bannimantap, Mandi Mohalla, Ashokapuram and other localities received the facilities.
LPG connections were provided to around 161 families belonging to Below Poverty Line, cheques for Rs. 25,000 for nine students pursuing engineering and medical courses, solar lights for 51 families, works order for 21 families under Gruhabhagya scheme and books for many students.
Former Mayor Ayub Khan, Corporator K.V. Mallesh, Zonal Assistant Commissioner Veena, Abdul Azeez Khan, Maulana Mufti Rabbuddin, Maulana Saleem and others were present.
