MCC Revenue Inspector caught while accepting bribe

Mysuru: Sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday trapped a Revenue Inspector of Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) while accepting a bribe of Rs.2,000 from a person for khata transfer of a house.

P. Kumaraswamy, Revenue Inspector attached to MCC Zone-8 (Udayagiri), is the one who was trapped. Kumaraswamy had demanded Rs.2,500 bribe from one Pavithrakumar for getting the khata transfer of a house, following which Pavithrakumar lodged a complaint with the ACB.

Kumaraswamy was caught red-handed by ACB Police when he was accepting Rs.2,000 bribe from Pavithrakumar at his (Kumaraswamy) office on Wednesday.
