MCC still lacking in digitalisation

December 20, 2019

Sir,
The next financial year 2020-21 is coming up shortly. Time and again many tax-payers have expressed the need to make the SAS (Self Assessment System) online but it still seems that MCC is sleeping over this.

If they cannot implement this system, let them at least introduce swiping machines too in the MCC Zonal Offices, to avoid public inconvenience in tendering exact change. Also, the online payment of water bill is still having bugs which needs to be corrected. When the whole nation is marching with digitalisation mantra, it is surprising why there is slackness by MCC on this part.

I hope, the MCC will take this issue seriously and start Online SAS payment and also streamline water bill payment online.
