MCF donates Rs.1 crore to CM’s Flood Relief Fund

Mysuru, Sept.1 (US)- Suttur  Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji handed over a cheque for Rs.1 crore on behalf of Mysore Citizens Forum (MCF) to Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa towards the CM’s Flood Relief Fund when the latter called on the Seer at JSS Institutions Complex at Jayanagar in Bengaluru on Tuesday.

Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev of Isha Foundation, MCF Members R. Vasudeva Bhat, R. Guru, S.P. Manjunath, P.V. Giri, Rashmi Koti, V.K. Jagadish Babu and R. Mahesh were present.

MCF has already despatched food materials to Gadag, Bagalkot and Belagavi districts and also Nanjangud.

Rs.50 lakh from JSS: Another cheque for Rs.50 lakh was also handed over to the CM on behalf of Suttur Mutt and JSS Mahavidyapeetha.

It has already been announced that free admission at JSS Institutions would be provided to the children of flood victims.

Dr. C.G. Betsurmath and S. Shivakumaraswamy of JSS Mahavidyapeetha were present.
