Mysuru: Mysore District Athletic Association (MDAA) will be conducting District Athletics Meet 2026 for boys and girls in the age group of U-14 and  U-16 on Oct. 31 at Chamundi Vihar Stadium in city.

Thirteen top athletes will be selected for 20th National Inter- District Junior Athletics Meet to be held at Woxsen University, Hyderabad, from Nov.14 to 16.

Eligibility for U-14: Boys and  girls born between Nov.17, 2012 and Nov.16, 2014; U-16: Boys and girls born between Nov. 17, 2010 and Nov.16, 2012.

Events for U-14

Triathlon Group A: 60 mts, Long Jump and High Jump; Triathlon Group B: 60 mts, Long Jump and Shot Put; Triathlon Group C: 60 mts, Long Jump and 600 mts.

Events for U-16

60 mts, 80 mts Hurdles, 600 mts, High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put, Javelin Throw and Pentathlon.
