MDJA sealed down after former CM tests COVID positive

Mysore/Mysuru: The Office of Mysuru District Journalists Association (MDJA) on Tyagaraja Road has been sealed down for three days from today after former Chief Minister Siddharamaiah, who had held an interaction with the media on Aug. 1, tested positive for COVID yesterday.

The MDJA Office would be disinfected for three days and press meets at MDJA would resume after that.

Meanwhile, former CM Siddharamaiah in his tweet this morning has stated: “I have tested positive for COVID-19 and also been admitted to the hospital on the advice of doctors as a precaution.  I request all those who had come in contact with me to check out for symptoms and to quarantine themselves.”
