MDJA to present pratibha puraskar

Meritorious children of Mysuru District Journalists, who scored high marks in SSLC and II PUC (2025-26), will be presented pratibha puraskar during the Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) of Mysuru District Journalists Association (MDJA) to be held  at Rani Bahadur auditorium in Manasagangothri campus on Hunsur Road at 10 am tomorrow (May 30). Adichunchanagiri Mysuru Branch Mutt Seer Sri Someshwaranatha Swamiji will grace the occasion. MDJA President K. Deepak will preside. KUWJ (Karnataka Union of Working Journalists) State Secretary Somashekar Keragodu will be the chief guest. MLA G.D. Harish Gowda will present pratibha puraskar.

Retired Journalist R. Krishnakumar of ‘The Hindu’, Retired Sub-editor of ‘Vijaya Karnataka’ Nagesh, Transferred ‘Prajavani’ Mysuru Bureau Chief K. Narasimhamurthy, Journalist Mohan Kumar, ‘Samyukta Karnataka’s Balakrishna Maddur, Journalist Kundur Umesh Bhat and awardee Journalist Shivakumar V. Rao will be felicitated.
