Mysuru, Sept.1- The following students of Rotary Midtown Academy, Hootagalli, Mysuru, have bagged prizes in Shimoga Open  2nd International-level Karate Championship – 2019 held at Nehru Indoor Stadium, Shivamogga, recently:

T. Yashas (10th std) – 2nd in Individual Kumite and 3rd in Individual Kata; S. Tejaswi (9th std) – 3rd in Individual Kata; Pragathi Tarase (9th std) – 1st in Individual Kumite and 2nd in Individual Kata; Vaibhav  S. Vasista (7th std) – 3rd in Individual Kata.

Around 1,500 karatekas participated from different countries  namely Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal and Malaysia.
