Medar Block residents demand rebuilding of damaged houses

Mysuru: Accusing the officials of not visiting them even four days after their houses were damaged by the fall of a huge tree, some residents of Medar Block (Medanakeri), under the banner of Zilla Kayaka Samajagala Okkoota, here on Friday demanding reconstruction of damaged houses.Medar Block residents 

Claiming that neither the MCC nor Karnataka Slum Clearance Board Officials bothered to visit them despite their houses suffering huge damages due to the fall of a huge pupil tree along the railway track, the residents urged the authorities to compensate them for the loss and also to rebuild their houses.

Former MLC K.C. Puttasiddashetty, Okkoota office-bearers Thimmashetty, K.P. Rajanna and other local leaders were present.
