Medical representative injured in freak mishap succumbs at hospital

Mysore/Mysuru: A medical representative, who had sustained serious head injuries after he fell from his bike and banged his head to the kerb stone near BEML arch in Srirampura 2nd Stage on July 17 night and admitted to a private hospital, has succumbed to injuries on July 18.

The deceased has been identified as G.M. Abhilash Nayak (29), a native of Kollegal. On July 17 at about 11.30 pm, Abhilash was proceeding on his Royal Enfield bike (KA-10-X-0055) on Srirampura 2nd Stage Main Road towards BEML Nagar when he went on a speed breaker, lost control of the bike and fell, ramming his head into the kerb stone.

Though he was immediately admitted to a private hospital in city, he succumbed to injuries at about 2.45 am next day. A case has been registered at K.R. Traffic Police Station.
