Mega Arogya Mela from tomorrow

The Department of Health and Family Welfare has organised a Mega Arogya Mela in Mysuru, Nanjangud, H.D. Kote, Hunsur, Periyapatna and K.R. Nagar taluks from Apr. 18 till Apr. 22. Distribution of health cards to eligible beneficiaries under the Ayushman Bharat-Arogya Karnataka scheme will be taken up at the Mela.

Screening will be held for diabetes, blood pressure, respiration, malaria, dengue, tuberculosis and cancer. The Mela is organised at following venues on different days:  On Apr. 18 at K.R Nagar General Hospital. Apr. 19 at Seth Mohandas Tulsidas (SMT) Hospital in Mysuru, Junior College on Gonikoppa Road in Periyapatna taluk and Hunsur Government Hospital. Apr. 21 at Nanjangud Government Hospital. Apr. 22 at H.D Kote and T. Narsipur Government Hospitals, according to a press release from District Health Officer (DHO) Dr. K.H. Prasad.
