Mysore/Mysuru: Akhil Bharatiya Terapanth Yuvak Parishad with support from National Health Mission and Jeevadhara Blood Bank has organised a mega blood donation drive on Sept. 17 with an aim to hold 1,000 camps across the country and to break the previous record of collecting 1 lakh units of blood.
Addressing a press meet at Patrakarthara Bhavan here yesterday, Rotary Mysore President Rtn. K. Subramanya Rao said that various Rotary Clubs, Inner Wheel Clubs and other organisations have joined hands with Terapanth Yuvak Parishad for the mega blood donation drive.
In Mysuru, blood donation drives will be held at Terapanth Bhavan on M.G. Road, Ideal Jawa Rotary School, Sri Kanyaka Mahal on Ashoka Road, Rajgopal Rao Rashinkar Kalyana Mantap on Male Mahadeshwara Road, GSS Office in Kuvempunagar, Sri Sai Electronics and Furnitures at Yaraganahalli, Kodava Samaja in Vijayanagar 1st Stage, SDM-IMD on Chamundi Hill Road, Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering in Gokulam and VTU on Sathagalli Ring Road.
The drives will also be held at Chawat Bhavan in K.R. Nagar, Sri Nagaraja Shetty Vajramma Kalyana Mantap in Hunsur, Terapanth Bhavan in H.D. Kote and Nanjangud. [Call:89059-95004]
