MES gets permission for Evening PU College

November 11, 2017

Mysuru: The Pre-University Board has approved Evening PU College proposed by the Muslim Educational Society (MES), Mysuru, at the premises of its existing First Grade College at Udayagiri here.

It may be mentioned that the MES was arbitrarily denied the permission to start PU College from 2017 and the Society had to approach the Chief Minister for his direct intervention. The Evening PU College has now been approved on 30.10.2017 and notified on SAKALA website.

The MES will start the classes from 2018 and will stick to its ardent policy of encouraging girl candidates by offering several fee concessions, particularly for those coming from the poorer sections, according to a press release from the MES Hon. Secretary Mohamed Khasim.
