Mysuru: Syed Basheer Ahmed, CEO, Saher Skill Development Centre, Rajivnagar, Mysuru, distributed certificates and prizes to students who excelled in Urdu and Islamic General Knowledge (GK) at MEWA Centre in Shanthinagar here on Feb.15.

Urdu and Islamic GK contests were conducted by Idara Adbiyat Urdu Hyderabad through Abid Ali Khan Trust, Hyderabad and Mohammad Ebrahim Khan Foundation, Mysuru, respectively.

Syeda Ayesha, CAO, Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bengaluru, was the guest of honour. Dr. Ayesha Farheen, Lecturer, APJ Abdul Kalam Residential College, Doddakanya, was the chief guest. Mir Sarfaraz ur Rahman, Barkatunnisa, Ateeq Ahmed, Organiser Nyamathulla Khan, a retired Principal, Abbas Sharief, noted artist, Mohammad Ali and Fazlullah, retired HM, were present. Uzma Sultana, Computer Instructor, compered.
