Micro-loans for women in financial distress

Mysore/Mysuru: With the COVID-19 pandemic pushing the economy to deep crisis, the Karnataka State Minorities Development Corporation, has introduced micro-loans (individual) to women in economical distress.

Speaking after inaugurating a one-day training workshop for District Managers and staff of Mysuru and Bengaluru divisions of the Corporation, at Maulana Azad Bhavan here recently, the Corporation Managing Director Syeda Ayesha said that the staff must work towards empowerment of economically distressed women by extending them  micro-loans and at the same time also concentrate on recovery of loans.

The Corporation’s General Manager Giridhar provided inputs  on the procedures to be followed in the implementation of the Micro-loan lending scheme, which is  being newly introduced.
