Millet Walk on Dec. 28

As part of Farmers Day, the Agriculture Department will hold a district-level Siridhanya Nadige (Millet walk) in the city on Dec. 28. The walk commences from Kote Anjaneyaswamy temple at Palace North gate at 7.45 am, and will culminate at the old DC’s office. Later, an interaction meet with Millets growers /sellers and Farmers Day celebration will take place at P. Kalingarao Bhavan in Dasara Exhibition premises at 11 am. District Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa and Agriculture Minister N. Cheluvarayaswamy will inaugurate the programme.
