Minister G.T. Devegowda’s group wins Co-operative Federation Polls

Mysuru: District Minister G.T. Devegowda’s group has bagged all the three seats of Mysuru region in the election held for Karnataka State Credit Co-operative Societies Federation Council at Bengaluru yesterday.

The polls were held at Government Girls PU College, Malleswaram in Bengaluru on Sunday and the counting of votes was taken up later in the evening.

G.T. Devegowda’s wife Lalitha G.T. Devegowda, who bagged 71 votes, was declared elected and the group’s two other members of the group — Chittaranjan Bolar (63 votes) and Ramakrishnegowda (57 votes) — too were declared elected. The group’s opponents — Bhaskar (17 votes) of Suttur, Sanjeev Madiwala (11 votes) of Horanadu and Choodachandraraje Urs (6 votes) of Mysuru conceded defeat.
