Higher Education Minister G.T. Devegowda launching the tree planting drive at Mysore University Layout in city on Sunday. More than 100 saplings such as Neem, Mahagony and other varieties were planted on roadsides and tree guards were installed to protect them by the residents of University Layout and Lingambudi Palya. Layout residents K.A. Nanaiah, Dr. Govindaraju, Srinivas, Shekar, Radhakrishna and others were present.
