H.D. Kote: Even as CM Siddharamaiah was returning to Mysuru after offering bagina to Kabini, the cars of Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa and MLA M.K. Somashekar were involved in a mishap near Shiramalli in the taluk. However, none of the occupants in the cars suffered any injuries.

Dr. Mahadevappa was travelling along with the CM, when Dr. Mahadevappa’s car in which the Minister’s PA and other staff were travelling, hit the car of MLA Somashekar from behind.

Although no one sustained any injuries, both the cars were heavily damaged. Following the mishap, MLA Somashekar continued his journey to Mysuru in another car, it is learnt.
