Miscreant steals cash, jewels of woman in bus

Srirangapatna: A miscreant, in the guise of a passenger, has stolen cash and gold jewellery of a woman travelling in the same bus yesterday.

The woman, who lost Rs.5,000 cash and gold earrings weighing about six grams, is Kamakshi, a resident of Moodlupalya in Bengaluru. 

According to the complaint lodged by Kamakshi at Srirangapatna Police Station, yesterday morning, she was travelling from Bengaluru towards Hunsur during which a 60-year-old co-passenger, stole her cash and gold ornament. Srirangapatna Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
