Miscreants break car glass, decamp with gold jewellery

Mysuru: An incident of miscreants breaking the glass of a car and decamping with gold jewellery and clothes was reported on Sayyaji Rao road here on Monday night.

Rajesh Kedilayi of Sullia in Dakshina Kannada district, who had come to city, had parked his car near Cauvery Emporium on Sayyaji Rao Road and had gone to a shop. When he returned after sometime, he found the glass of his car broken and gold jewellery and new clothes kept in the suitcase and a bag missing. He then lodged a complaint at Devaraja Police Station in this regard.

Devaraja Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
