Mysuru: Miscreants have looted cash from an ATM kiosk at Jayapura in the taluk on Friday night.

The ATM belongs to Bank of India, Jayapura Branch. As there was no security guard at the ATM, the miscreants found it easy and as the bank was closed on Saturday, the theft had not come to light.

The theft came to light when a customer entered the kiosk to withdraw cash, found the ATM broken and immediately informed Jayapura Police.

The Police, who rushed to the spot, inspected the place and have registered a case.

It is learnt that as the Bank was closed on Saturday, CCTV footages and the quantity of cash stolen were not available.
