Miscreants rob gold ornaments from vanity bag

Mysuru: Taking advantage of the rush, miscreants have robbed a woman of gold ornaments kept in her vanity bag while she was boarding an autorickshaw at Sub-urban Bus Stand here on Aug. 31.

The woman, who lost her gold ornaments, has been identified as Pankaja, a resident of Nazarbad in city.

According to the complaint lodged by Pankaja at Nazarbad Police Station, Pankaja, who had gone to Bengaluru on some work on Aug. 31, returned to Mysuru at about 8 pm and was about to board an auto to go to her house.

As there was a rush, miscreants, who took advantage of the situation, managed to lift the purse containing gold ornaments which was kept in the vanity bag.

Nazarbad Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
