July 28, 2023

Mysore/Mysuru: Miscreants, on the pretext of selling soap and powder, have snatched a gold chain from a woman at Manchegowdanakoppal on July 26. The woman, who lost her gold chain is 29-year-old Jyothi. At about 11.15 am, two youths, who came to the house of Jyothi located on the 5th Cross, asked her if she wants to buy soap and powder. When she replied in negative, one of the youths asked her for a glass of water.

When she turned her back to get the water, one of the youths yanked off her gold chain and fled from the house, jumped on the bike on which another youth was waiting and sped away.
