Miscreants snatch vanity bag containing gold jewellery

Mysuru: Bike-borne miscreants have snatched a vanity bag containing gold jewellery from a woman, who was returning home after purchasing vegetables near Ramakrishna Ashrama on KRS Road here on Friday.

The woman, who lost her jewellery, is Namratha Urs, a resident of V.V. Mohalla.

Namratha was crossing the road after buying vegetables when three persons on a bike snatched her bag containing gold jewellery and sped away.

In her complaint to V.V. Puram Police, Namratha has stated that the bag contained 90 grams gold jewellery, mobile phone, debit card and other important documents. V.V. Puram Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
