Miscreants steal cash from vanity bag

Mysuru:  An incident of miscreants stealing cash and mobile phone from a vanity bag of a woman, has been reported at City Bus Stand here on Wednesday. The woman, who lost her cash and mobile phone has been identified as Prathiba, a resident of Yelwal here.

Prathiba, along with her family members had come to city to purchase gold ornaments on Wednesday morning. At about 4.30 pm, Prathiba and her family members came to City Bus Stand to go back to Yelwal and boarded a bus there.

When Prathiba opened her vanity bag to take money to buy tickets, she found Rs. 48,000 cash and mobile phone missing and immediately lodged a complaint at Devaraja Police Station.

Devaraja Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
