Miscreants steal gold, cash in bus

Mysore/Mysuru: Miscreants have stolen gold ornaments and cash of a 58-year-old woman, who was travelling in a KSRTC bus from Bengaluru to Mysuru on Dec. 16.

The woman, who lost her valuables, is Narmada, a resident of Banumaiah Road in K.R. Mohalla in city. On Dec. 14, Narmada had gone to her brother’s house in Bengaluru for a religious ceremony and on Dec. 16 at about 5.30 pm, she boarded the KSRTC bus at Satellite Bus Stand to Mysuru and reached the city at about 9 pm. When she checked her vanity bag, she found her gold ornaments weighing 75 grams and Rs. 3,000 cash missing.

She lodged a complaint with Lashkar Police on Dec. 18 and the Police who have registered a case are investigating.
