Miscreants steal gold ornaments from bus passenger

Mysuru: Miscreants have stolen gold ornaments from a bus passenger who was travelling from Nanjangud to Mysuru on Saturday.

The incident came to light when the passenger alighted near Hardinge Circle and checked his pocket where he had kept the gold ornaments weighing about 123 grams.

The person, who lost the gold ornaments, has been identified as Mahadevappa, a resident of Nanjangud. Mahadevappa boarded the bus in Nanjangud to Mysuru on Saturday and alighted at Hardinge Circle where he came to know that the gold ornaments which he had kept in his pocket was missing and immediately lodged a complaint at Nazarbad Police Station.

Nazarbad Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
